No need to deal with tire kickers, low ballers, and people who waste your time, let Painted Star Equestrian take care of the marketing and showing off your horse. Take a look at a few of our recent horses:
Faye (SOLD)
Faye is a 6 year old thoroughbred mare standing at 15.2. Smooth floaty trot, collects, soft canter, and natural flying lead changes. She has been tuned up on the barrels and jumping and is ready for a rider to take her all the way. Great on trails will go out alone or with others. Just point and shoot she will climb anything! UTD on everything and has been extremely well cared for. Trailers, stands all day, great ground manners. Super sweet and willing which is hard to find! Perfect horse for an intermediate rider or teen looking for a fun horse. Only vice is she will pin her ears when cinched up.
Gracie (SOLD)
Beautiful 13 year old APHA mare, by Playin Stylish. She stands at 14.2, sound with good bare feet! She has been sorting, trails, gymkhanas, and has been used in lessons. She sustained a suspensory ligament tear in October and has had all the proper rehab. She recently passed a vet check with flying colors and is back into work. The video is of her second ride since, the first one being only walking. Perfect horse for an intermediate rider to bring back into shape and show or have fun with! Gracie has all the buttons just a little rusty.
Baby Willow (SOLD)
Baby willow is extremely sweet and loving Clydesdale. She is turning 3 this year and is 17 hands. She stands quiet, bathes, and is just so sweet! We saddled her and sat on her bareback and walked around with no issues at all! She will be an easy one to break or cart train with such a great personality. She’s been the barn favorite and we are so sad to see her leave but we want what is best for her and see her go to a loving home! The owner just doesn’t have the time to put into her training.
Cash (SOLD)
This beautiful boy is available to the perfect home. He is completely bombproof on the trail and has been taking care of beginners in and out of the arena. He is sound for light riding and would do best in a trail home. Perfect husband, grandkid, guest trail horse. He’s always the same good boy everyday. 16.1 and 17 years old.
Peppy (SOLD)
"Ima pepperoni" with AMAZING bloodlines: yellow roan of Texas, peptoboonsmal, peppy San badger, the list goes on. Peppy is a 7 year old talented gelding. Standing at 15 hds he has the confirmation and agility to bring you home some money. Professionally trained as a reined cow horse and exposed to cattle this is the perfect horse for someone either looking to show or take him to the ranch for a fancy ride. He has all the buttons, spins, low headset and stops on a dime with only your seat needed. He ties, trailers, and clips. Has had complete beginners on his back without a problem. Would be best suited for someone who is intermediate and up only because he enjoys a rider who knows what their asking of him. A good home is a must - the owner is going a different direction with her horses.
Catalina (SOLD)
This sweet and puppy like March 2018 AQHA Filly will excel in anything thrown her way. With bloodlines going back to Doc Bar, Smart Little Lena, Bueno Chex and Mr San Peppy this girl will be turning heads wherever you go. She has all her baby basics: trailers, ties, picks up feet, bathes, and started on ground work. We have thrown a saddle and bridle on her, she doesn't care. This will be an easy baby to break in March. Mom was AQHA but previous owners lost her papers. Can be half registered with the AQHA. Get all the talent and foundation breeding without the price tag. Owner wishes she could keep her but she needs a lesson horse.
Trigger (SOLD)
Trigger is a golden palomino TWH. He is such a love and whinnies when he sees you. Standing at 15.1 hds and 11 years old, he was purchased in August by a friend looking for a horse for her daughter. After riding him for a month she realized she wanted a sporty horse for gymkhana events vs a gaited horse. He's been siting since but I jumped on him yesterday with screaming kids, lessons horses running around him, and at night. No issues at all. With this in mind he needs a tune up. He's been sitting but his previous owner used him as their kids backyard horse. He has a more natural gait under saddle and has a forward walk. With work he will be a perfect trail horse or ladies leisure mount. Great with dogs, machines, cows ect. His soft mouth is great for riders with light hands. Super sweet and loving personality and gets along with all horses. He really just needs his person. Good for advanced rider due to needing a tune up. UTD on everything and records to prove it.
