Camp 2026

Summer Camp at Painted Star Equestrian is all about horses, confidence, and a week your child will never forget. Our camps welcome riders of all levels — whether your child is brand new to horses or already has experience in the saddle. Each camper is supported at the level that fits them best, so they feel both comfortable and challenged throughout the week.

We thoughtfully divide campers into small groups based on riding ability, age, confidence, friendships, and siblings attending together. Our goal is to create groups where kids feel included, encouraged, and excited to learn. If your child is coming with a friend or sibling, we do our best to keep them together to make the experience even more special.

Each day at camp is hands-on, structured, and full of fun. Campers start their morning greeting the horses and learning barn routines before moving into grooming, brushing, and saddling with instructor guidance. Daily riding lessons with multiple instructors focus on building balance, control, and confidence in the saddle. Beyond riding, campers learn horsemanship skills like horse care, safety, and basic equine knowledge so they truly understand the animals they’re working with. Throughout the week, we mix in horse-themed games, team activities, and creative projects that keep the energy high and the experience well-rounded. We wrap up our week with a 'Rodeo Showio' for parents to come watch everything their camper learned.
